Job Summary:
As the Area Director of Sales for the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Columbia, MO, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and leading a high-performing sales team. You will work closely with hotel General Managers, corporate leadership, and external partners to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Columbia, MO.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders to drive business.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaborate with hotel General Managers to ensure alignment between sales and operational goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Stay informed about competitors' activities and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the hospitality industry, preferably with experience in the Columbia, MO market.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and close deals with clients.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
