Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a shuttle vehicle to transport passengers to and from designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the shuttle vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing excellent customer service
- Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience as a shuttle driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with operating heavy equipment, such as pallet jacks, is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge to handle basic vehicle maintenance tasks is desirable
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions is required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers in a professional manner
- Knowledge of local routes and streets for efficient navigation
