Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of food service operations, including coffee service, the restaurant, banquets, and catering.
- Manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of customers.
- Monitor food production processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain inventory of food and supplies, ordering additional items as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Train new staff members on food service procedures and standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as assistant manager or food service director in a hotel or banquet setting.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques and beverage service.
- Familiarity with food production processes and catering operations.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service operations.
