Job Summary

The Room Attendant is essential for maintaining our hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and guest service. You will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms are impeccably cleaned and responding to guest requests with exceptional service, contributing to our commitment to outstanding hospitality.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Job Essentials

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming according to Doubletree brand guidelines.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as necessary.
  • Gather supplies, equipment, and amenities daily.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously. Seek assistance when needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism. Follow up to ensure all issues are resolved in line with our "Make it Right" principles.
  • Adhere to hotel safety policies and procedures. Report any accidents or injuries promptly.
  • Keep your work area clean and free of hazards to perform duties safely and efficiently.
  • Complete any other job-related tasks as assigned.

Physical Demands

  • This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as performing repetitive motions, bending, stretching, reaching, stooping, and lifting objects weighing up to 20-30 pounds.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules, including holidays and weekends, to meet the hotel’s needs. Attendance at scheduled training sessions and meetings is also required.
