Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lead Bartender/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for craft cocktails, beer, and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, taking and serving food orders, maintaining cleanliness at the bar/restaurant, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Bistro including checking that tasks have been completed, handle guest complaints, delegate tasks, and supervise bartenders.
  • Training for all new FOH new hires
  • Assist with Events.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Engage with customers to take drink/food orders and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Bistro
  • Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register and the Micros system.
  • Serve food to customers.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during events.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a bartender is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage customers effectively.
  • Be able to lift 30 lbs plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
