As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Director of Sales to spearhead our sales efforts across both properties.
Position Summary:
As the Director of Sales, you will be the driving force behind our sales initiatives, developing and implementing innovative strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in hospitality sales, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to forge lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute sales strategies that meet or exceed revenue goals for both hotels.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and community leaders to enhance business opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, ensuring our properties stay ahead of the curve.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to create impactful promotional materials and campaigns, while also managing our social media presence.
- Industry Representation: Represent our hotels at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions to promote our brand and build valuable connections.
- Budget Management: Prepare and oversee the sales department’s budget, ensuring alignment with our financial goals.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities and performance metrics to senior management to drive transparency and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies that drive results.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating and managing a team.
- Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Flexibility: Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and events.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience.
