Position Summary:

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in hospitality sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and community leaders.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional materials and campaigns and manage social media.
  • Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions, as needed.
  • Prepare and manage the sales department’s budget.
  • Report on sales activities and performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
