About the position

The Marriott Metairie is seeking a Night Manager to join the Front Office Team. As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your role will involve monitoring and assessing service and satisfaction trends, addressing issues, and implementing improvements. You will act as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring that the hotel property and facilities are functional, presentable, and safe for guests and team members. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation of daily summary reports and develop team member performance through supervision, scheduling, training, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.

Responsibilities
• Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

• Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues, and make improvements accordingly.

• Act as Manager on Duty and on behalf of the General Manager in his/her absence.

• Tour hotel interior and exterior to ensure the property and facilities are functional, presentable to established standards, and safe for guests and team members.
