Job Title: Sales Coordinator – Group Rooms

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator – Group Rooms to support our sales team across Marriott Metairie and Long Island Marriott. The ideal candidate will have prior Marriott experience and extensive hands-on experience with CI, Opera, and MARSHAA. This role involves coordinating group reservations, managing room blocks, and ensuring seamless communication between sales, revenue management, and front desk teams.
Manage group room blocks, ensuring accurate entry and maintenance in CI, Opera, and MARSHAA.
Coordinate with clients, sales managers, and operational teams to ensure seamless group bookings.
Assist in preparing group contracts, rooming lists, and updating group reservations.
Monitor inventory, rates, and cut-off dates to optimize occupancy and revenue.
Communicate with clients regarding reservation details, billing, and special requests.
Support the sales team with reports, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
Ensure all Marriott brand standards and procedures are followed.
Prior Marriott experience is required.
Extensive hands-on experience with CI, Opera, and MARSHAA is a must.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
