Job Title: Front Desk Officer (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Shift)
Location: Hampton Inn & Suites, Stephenville, TX
Reports To: Front Office Manager / General Manager
Schedule: Full-time, Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
As a Front Desk Officer for the 3 PM – 11 PM shift at Hampton Inn & Suites Stephenville, you are the first point of contact for our guests during the evening hours. You will provide exceptional customer service, handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, manage guest inquiries, and ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide prompt, courteous check-in and check-out services
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications via the property management system (OnQ experience is a plus)
Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and handle guest requests in a timely and professional manner
Monitor lobby activity and maintain a clean, organized front desk area
Verify guest identification, process payments, and handle cash and credit transactions securely
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and resolve guest concerns
Handle minor guest complaints or escalate to management when necessary
Complete end-of-shift reports and daily audit tasks as required
Comply with hotel security, safety, and brand standards at all times
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
Basic computer literacy; experience with hotel property management systems preferred
Must be reliable, punctual, and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
