Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Office Manager to join our team. The Front Office Manager will oversee all aspects of the front desk operations, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out experiences for guests, managing reservations, and coordinating with other departments to meet guest needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering top-notch service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries.
- Train, supervise, and motivate front desk staff to provide exceptional service.
- Ensure efficient handling of reservations, cancellations, and room assignments.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and financial transactions.
- Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and reconcile daily transactions.
- Monitor and manage room inventory to maximize revenue and occupancy.
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain safety and security standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service quality.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Front Desk Manager or Reception Manager role.
- Profound experience in customer service, office management, and basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Familiarity with office machines such as fax machines and printers.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, along with fluency in English (both oral and written).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with visitors and staff.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- High School diploma required; additional certifications will be considered a bonus.
