Reports To: Front Office Manager / General Manager
Position Summary:
As a Front Desk Agent at Hampton Inn by Hilton West Lakeside, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in and check-out experience. You’ll assist with reservations, respond to guest needs, and uphold Hilton’s high standards of service and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests promptly and professionally upon arrival

Perform check-in, check-out, and room assignment processes efficiently

Answer and direct incoming phone calls and handle guest inquiries or requests

Manage room reservations via phone, online platforms, or walk-ins

Provide local recommendations, directions, and general information to guests

Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and escalate when necessary

Ensure accuracy in billing and maintain secure handling of cash, credit cards, and confidential information

Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area

Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams

Adhere to all hotel policies and Hilton brand standards
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work independently

Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
