About the Event Manager Position

Event Manager Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to understand requirements and desires for each event

  • Book venues and schedule any notable guests, such as speakers or musicians

  • Negotiate with sponsors and vendors

  • Hire and train event personnel

  • Oversee all event operations, such as setting up the venue and preparing food and drink

  • Resolve conflicts as they arise

  • Obtain all necessary event permits

  • Manage post-event reports

Event Manager Requirements
