Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Sales to lead the charge in driving revenue growth for our limited-service Marriott property. This position calls for an innovative leader who can leverage technology and analytics to create dynamic sales strategies tailored to the Residence Inn’s extended-stay and limited-service model. This position is responsible for creating and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue, and market share towards achieving property goals.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to drive Corp, group, and extended-stay business.

· Actively prospect and solicit new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.

· Monitor market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

· Collaborate with hotel operations to ensure seamless guest experiences and consistent service delivery.

· Create and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses, travel agencies, and corporate accounts.

· Collaborate to present monthly sales reports and revenue forecasts to hotel ownership and management.

· Ensure compliance with Marriott’s brand standards in all marketing and sales efforts.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.

Qualifications:

· (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

· ( Essential) Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry.

· Proven track record in a competitive market. (Local GA Markets preferred.)

· Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

· Proficiency in Marriott systems such as CI/TY, MARSHA, and Fosse.

· Willingness to go beyond the expected to drive results.

· Oversee the hotel's participation in loyalty programs like Marriott Bonvoy to drive repeat business.

· Boost brand awareness and generate leads.

· Ensure compliance with Marriott’s brand standards in all marketing and sales efforts.

Qualifications:

· Experience with hotel revenue management and dynamic pricing strategies.

· Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.

· At least 5 years of leadership experience in hospitality sales.

· Marriott experience required
