Regional Revenue Manager

Job Description

This role will provide direction and support to property teams in the maximization of revenue (RevPAR and RevPAR Index), profit and market share through leadership in the revenue strategy processes associated with inventory management, pricing, demand projections and revenue.

Qualifications

  • Marriott, IHG or Hilton multi brand experience preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the Revenue Management discipline.
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Strong working knowledge of reservations, revenue, front office, sales & catering systems and industry systems (STR, TravelClick, Sales Systems, Knowland, Kalibri, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Maximize total revenues and market share index through developing pricing, restrictions, mix of sales and channel visibility
  • Control room rates and availability in accordance with established guidelines to maximize occupancy and revenues
  • Analyze data to interpret market trends, market dynamics, strategy changes, and optimum mix of sales, etc.
  • Prepare for and conduct weekly Revenue Management meetings involving rate and inventory strategies, transient/group pace, competitive business analysis, and financial forecasts
  • Initiate short and long term revenue forecasts and generate weekly and monthly critiques, identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability
  • Monitor competitive pricing across all channels and products
  • Work with the different departments to ensure similar goals, and implement action plans to achieve optimum revenue management
  • Assist as needed in the yearly RFP process
  • Assist as needed in the yearly budgeting process
  • Assist as needed in reporting to ownership
