Job Title: Senior Sales Manager

Position Overview:

Envue, Autograph Collection by Marriott, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue and market share by securing group, corporate, and social business. As part of the Autograph Collection, Envue offers an elevated, independent experience with the backing of the Marriott brand—perfect for a creative and strategic sales leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed room revenue goals across group, transient corporate, and social market segments.

  • Identify new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, networking, prospecting, and participation in industry events.

  • Manage and grow existing key accounts through relationship management and customized sales strategies.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the unique value of the Envue experience.

  • Collaborate with revenue management and the operations team to ensure alignment on pricing, availability, and client expectations.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in Marriott’s systems (e.g., CI/TY, Delphi).

  • Host site inspections, client events, and sales trips to enhance client engagement and conversion.

  • Mentor and support junior sales team members, acting as a role model in professionalism and performance.

  • Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a lifestyle or luxury property.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong understanding of group and corporate travel market trends in the NYC/NJ area.

  • Proven track record of closing business and exceeding sales goals.

  • Proficiency with Marriott systems such as CI/TY and Salesforce is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
